A 2-hour workshop to reduce your stress related absence days, boost employee confidence and increase productivity
You have probably noticed the world isn’t getting any easier and more and more of your employees are showing signs of stress, disengagement and taking time off sick. This isn’t unique to your organisation, we are in the middle of a recognised mental health epidemic in the UK.
Employee absence doesn’t just impact the individual who is off sick but also the colleagues around them who are left behind to pick up the extra workload and keep the ship afloat.
Within this workshop we teach your colleagues how to use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT Tapping) when they first notice signs of stress to prevent chronic stress and burnout from taking hold.
By developing an understanding of neuroscience and how the mind and body functions and responds to stress or specific events, your employees are able to take back control of their emotions and build a new level of resilience as well as self compassion.
By the end of this two hour workshop, your employees will not only have a new awareness of how to recognise stress and anxiety at work but they will also be equipped with a tool for calming their mind that actually works.
Each colleague will have a chance to practise and integrate this tool into their day so they feel calm and confident to start using it right away.
What is Emotional Freedom Technique?
Also known as Tapping, EFT is a technique best described as a mixture of Chinese acupressure and modern day psychology.
It is a powerful holistic healing technique that can be used to resolve a range of issues and can be performed anywhere, at anytime.
Similarly to acupressure, EFT works on the meridian points which are passageways in the body that energys flow through.
By tapping on these specific points and talking through the issue, it sends calming signals to the amygdala which is the part of the brain that controls stress. This has been proven to then reduce the abnormal amount of cortisol that has been triggered in the body by stress.
How EFT can help your employees
Emotional Freedom Technique has been scientifically proven to reduce cortisol levels in the body by up to 43% as the tapping sends calming signals to the Amygdala which is the part of the brain that triggers your fight or flight response.
This helps employees to stay calm and reduces secondary conditions caused by having too much cortisol in the body.
Burnout is a state of physical and emotional exhaustion which can be caused by long term stress from work or personal circumstances.
By using EFT when the employee spots the early signs of stress, it can prevent chronic stress taking place which leads to burnout. Resulting in fewer employee absences and consistant productivity .

EFT has also been proven to allow you access to the unconscious mind which is the part of the brain that drives your patterns, habits, behaviours and beliefs.

How the workshop runs
This is a two hour interactive online workshop where colleagues will be able to respond to thought provoking questions and reflect on what it is they truly need to support themselves within the workplace.
All attendees will receive a bespoke worksheet so they can dig deep and focus in on an area that is troubling them on an individual level so they can start tapping straight away to see mental and emotional shifts. This will be a reusable worksheet so they can continue with this support beyond the workshop.
I'll also open up space at the end for any further questions and for employees to share realisations, reflections and will be available to support colleagues post the workshop on their specific experience, wellbeing and EFT via email, should they need it.
There is no limited on the number of employee that can attend one workshop.

Why I teach EFT
In 2021, I learnt about the amazing effects of EFT and instantly felt the benefits of using it when faced with difficult emotional or mental decisions.
I decided to deepen my knowledge on the process and become an EFT practitioner which led me to offering EFT as part of my team 1-1s whilst managing a HR Shared Services.
Not only did I experience internal shifts myself but I was able to see a change in my teams mind set and their increased levels of resilience to stressful situations.
One colleague who had been suffering with work induced anxiety from a previous company was able to finally let go of a memory and fear she had been carrying with her for almost five years after just two EFT session. Her anxiety was no longer there and it stopped hindering her performance.
It was at this point I realised how powerful this tool could be when used correctly in the workplace.
